Is intermittent fasting just another fad, doomed to fade in the memory, or a genuine way of losing weight and improving our lives? And is it the new silver bullet to easy weight loss? There are also claims that it can increase longevity, improve mind and memory, increase energy and a few other metabolic improvements.
One of the difficulties faced by many would-be slimmers is “Which diet/exercise regime to follow?” There are many, many variants out there and it may seem that every day some celebrity espouses yet another ‘guaranteed to succeed diet’, usually on the back of a book they’ve just written or perhaps, some sponsorship deal. Can weight loss affirmations help with weight loss? Yes they can in as much as they can keep you focused on your goal of losing weight. Yesterday (6 January) was statistically the most depressing day of the year, not bad for just 6 days into the year!
