According to the NHS, “stress is the feeling of being under too much mental or emotional pressure.”

Are you feeling under pressure?

If this is you, don’t feel ashamed that you can’t cope. Understand that what is acceptable for one person is overload for another.

However,  stress is also cumulative, so even a minor, seemingly insignificant additional burden might be the ‘final straw’ that creates that ‘too much.’

Remember too that stresses can arise from many causes, e.g. financial, family, death, marriage, work, school, bullying and more.
